[ Jumping into space sounds better than dealing with this, but that'd put more people at risk than just himself. So, unfortunately, he's stuck having this particular conversation. In fact, his body language reflects how unsure he is about it as he looks at him. ]

Y'know, us. This teammate thing, or whatever we are, I don't know.

[ He doesn't know enough about the future to know if friend is the right word to use there. He wouldn't presume, and the time period he's from, they're still just working on the "teammate" part. But that eerie little year-long jaunt on party planet was like a looking glass into what could be, instead of what is. ]

So, look, I get it.
