You know what to do.

[ Not even by her great hero, Medusa imagines. And this Tony Stark is no Carol Danvers, not even close. ]
Your counterpart would understand this without saying. You are alone in your universe, so I wish to be sure that we understand each other. As long as her choices are respected and no undue harm comes to her, there will be no issue. No doubt she will be thrilled to get to know you. [ Not that Medusa understands why. ] I respect that being an Avenger is important to her, as it is to many people, including you. I take no issue with her choice. I have no quarrel with you, or the Avengers at large. And I think we would all prefer this continue to be a productive relationship. So I expect that whatever takes place going forward, you will always do what is best for her. Even if that is inconvenient for you.

[ What is this, prom night? He's still brazenly unintimidated, but also doesn't look particularly on the cusp of argument, as they're clearly in agreement. ]
Look, message received, but I don't think you need to worry about it. The kid is making her own choices, like you said. And I dunno if you've noticed, but the Avengers aren't exactly a thing around here, anyway.
[ Not that he sounds exactly thrilled about it, but there's also nobody on this ship he's feeling particularly inclined to broach that topic with. ]

[ Perhaps less than there used to be, but still, enough. Enough that they could one day come into conflict that would best be avoided. ]
Being an Avenger is not everything, Anthony. Other identities are just as important.
[ And she's not just talking about Kamala here. ]

Listen — there's no way for you to know this, but I'd been an Avenger for four days by the time the Ingress plucked me through the multiverse. I'm not about to quit my day job and tattoo it on my forearm.
[ Which might all be (morbidly) funny one day, in retrospect, when he learns just how In Deep he'll one day end up. ]

My understanding from my sister is that it has a way of getting to you. It "sucks you in". I believe those were her exact words.
[ Which is certainly true. But completely devoid of context, for Crystal certainly didn't get sucked in herself, and if the Avengers "got to her", it wouldn't be in a positive way. ]
