You know what to do.

technically action? i guess? mail???
anyway, inside it is a verrrry rudimentary robot that has a button and once - if - pressed, it moves around a little and plays whatever was the neatest version of 'happy birthday' peter could find. it might be trying to dance? it might just be trying not to fall over. it's difficult to tell - there isn't a whole lot of articulation. mostly it's stepping forward and backward and slightly tilting here and there while the arms move on a limited rotation.
also then peter might have panicked a little because who gives tony stark a robot
so he stuffed a 15 senc gift certificate for the pizza place he works at in at the last minute. so that's like crammed into the flaps at the top and hopefully tony might see it.
the package peter made sure his name wasn't on but the gift certificate does say which employee got it - just ftr, in case tony gets curious who is sending him animated scraps. ]
text;
By the fourth hour of having the tiny robot in his possession, it's gone on his workbench where Dum-E can immediately begin several overtures at friendship, interspersed with preventing the little robot from walking directly off the table. Tony probably manages to kill another fourty-five minutes watching the spectacle before actually going back to work, and it's hour six by the time Dum-E realizes he can use his new friend to serenade the workshop with a "happy birthday" tune at will.
It's about three days later that Peter gets a message on his TAB. ]
pizza delivery, right?
[ NAILIN' IT ALREADY ]
text;
[ peter's first response comes more or less purely reflexively, because what. he hasn't sent anyone a text in a - well, a few hours, and none of them make sense with that message]
delivery within region is half an hour tops & i'm never late what's the problem
[ -oh
oh wait
oh shit
uhhhhhhhhh ]
maybe??
text;
think you could get a large cheese delivered sometime in the next two hours?
[ Should he call the actual pizza shop? Sure. Is he going to? Absolutely not. ]
and ACTION
[ tony should definitely call the actual pizza shop, because peter looks weird giving them an immediate order in person, even though peter's not going to do anything about it beyond that. except maybe notice another order that's just like. ten minutes ahead. for the same thing. he might take it. it's not really the right thing, but. maybe there are impressions being made and it's only ten minutes - their guarantee won't suffer for that. they're really close already. totally.
as the spider flies, they're like basically next door neighbors, so. (look okay he does the other delivery first bc they were first but he does it really fast!!)
peter figures they'll be fine.anyway it's like somewhere betweeneight and thirteenten and seventeen minutes later that there's a ding-dong-faint-knock at the door. ]action forever and ever
Apparently pizza delivery is no exception.
He tries (and fails) to mask some of his amusement as he pulls the door open. ]
I know you guys market yourselves on your delivery time, but I think you might actually be under-selling it.
i am literally wearing the same pizza tshirt right now
Haha - [ ha hahahahaha ] - yeah, it's, uh. I guess it's faster if you... Call an employee..? [ wait, what? who else would you call? why would that make it faster?? what is he saying???
oh right he's holding a pizza great LET'S MOVE ON ] A large cheese, right?
method rp
Got it in one. Quick and accurate, imagine that.
[ He pivots on his heel without any further ado and makes a vague gesture that probably indicates Peter should follow him in. With the pizza, of course.
Priorities. ]
is it also method if i reply this quickly; also wow mid-tag i notice what a perfect icon
normally people like. take the pizza from him at this point, but then again they also don't normally invite him inside, so he takes a couple seconds to make sure he's reading that right and then hurry-walks to make up for the hesitation. ] Well, accuracy without precision still isn't that helpful, right? [ wait, that. yeah, that's fine. it would be weird if he didn't say something, and that's not too bad.
it's also suddenly too quiet. ] I mean it's no Rosa's but it's still pretty good.
only if it's method rp that i get distracted and reply two months later
Well, except for the little robot standing on the counter, of course.
He gestures for Peter to deposit the pizza somewhere, then leans against the far counter. ]
Your handiwork, right? [ He tips his head at the robot on the counter. ] Pizza delivery's an odd choice of profession for someone with your skillset.
